Each fall an estimated 1,050 first-year students embark on their undergraduate studies.  Students come from all 50 states and more than 80 countries.  Greater than 5,000 students continue on with advanced degrees with DUs graduate and professional programs.  The campus sits on 125 acres with breathtaking views of the Denver skyline as well as the Colorado Rockies.  Students are studying the following concentrations:  Arts & Humanities, Business, Education, Engineering & Computer Science, International Studies, Natural Sciences and Mathematics and Social Sciences.

There are a number of historic buildings on campus; University Hall has served DU since 1890, Evans Chapel (1870s) was relocated to DU from downtown Denver in the 1960s and Buchtel Tower (1913) is all that remains from Buchtel Chapel, which burned in 1983.
